The Foreman app will run on Apple and Android devices, it is compact, powerful and will not excessively drain your devices resources

• Simply visit the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store on your mobile device and search “Foreman App”.
• Tap on the Foreman App link and download as you would any other app (this is a free download).

The Foreman app is password secured, ensure your password is safe.

• When you open the app you will need to input a username and password.
• Your username is the email address you used to sign up with and will be the email your password is sent to.
• The password will be sent to you by email, this is automated via the signup procedure on the Foreman website.
• There is a ‘Forgotten Password’ link should you require the password to be reset.

The first time you use the app you will need to set up some specifics, this is a one-time set up and should only take a few minutes.

• Tap the person icon in the top right of the screen.
• The top of the section will show a space for your name and your business, now tap on Your Details and input your name, email address and telephone number in the relevant boxes before pressing Save Details. You can also add a picture by tapping on the Change button under the round picture holder at the top of the screen.
• Tap the Linked Accounts button, tap the Connect button next to the website icon, as an additional security measure you need to type in your password prior to tapping on the Connect To Web button. You will then be asked to input your company website address after which you simply click Save to complete the set up.
• Repeat the above process by tapping on the required buttons such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc., if you do not wish to use a specific platform you can ignore it and only set up the platforms you want to post on.

To create a post from the Foreman app takes just seconds.

• At the top of the screen are three options - Projects, Posts and Testimonials, tap the word Posts to bring the blue highlight under the Posts section if not already there.
• Your screen will now show all your recent posts that you are able to scroll through, you are able to edit, amend or delete any of these by tapping the individual post or swiping left to give you the option to delete.
• Tap the large blue plus button at the bottom of the screen.
• If this is a brand new post then ignore the Select Project dropdown and enter your required text into the white text box in the middle of your screen, exactly as you would if typing a text.
• If you want your post to be an addition to an existing project then select the required project from the Project dropdown box and enter your requires text into the white text box in the middle of your screen, exactly as you would if typing a text.
• If you require an image to go with your post then tap the Add Images button, you are then given the choice of using your camera to take a picture or using your devices gallery which is selected and accessed by tapping on the required button.
• Foreman gives you the option to crop, rotate and move the picture prior to posting, this is available whether you use the camera or choose an image from your gallery.
• You have the option to schedule the post by tapping the date button under the picture section, this opens up a roller option for the date to be changed, if you wish to post immediately then leave this showing with the pre-set current date.
• The Post Live button is preselected with a green tick, if you wish to post at a later time then deselect this.
• If the post is the final post in a Project then tap the red Project Completed box to turn it to a green tick.
• The final step is to tap Save and you will see your post as it syndicates across your chosen platforms.
• The Foreman app will also send you a gentle reminder alarm if you haven’t posted in 3 consecutive days.

Clients will often forget to wrote a testimonial, Foreman ensures it gets done.

• At the top of the screen are three options - Projects, Posts and Testimonials, tap the word Testimonials to bring the blue highlight under the Testimonials section if not already there.
• Your screen will now show all your recent testimonials that you are able to scroll through.
• You are now able select a project that the testimonial relates to, this is not compulsory and you do not have to attach a testimonial to a specific project so can ignore this if required.
• Type in your customers name in the Customer Name box.
• Type in the customers email address in the relevant box.
• Tap the Send button, a personalised email requesting a testimonial is sent to the customers email address.
• The recipient can click on a link in the email to leave a review, this is then sent directly to your Foreman app for you to review, amend and post.

To create a Testimonial via the Foreman app is straightforward and time saving.

• At the top of the screen are three options - Projects, Posts and Testimonials, tap the word Testimonials to bring the blue highlight under the Testimonials section if not already there.
• Your screen will now show all your recent testimonials that you are able to scroll through, you are able to edit, amend or delete any of these by tapping the individual testimonial or swiping left to give you the option to delete.
• You are now able select a project that the testimonial relates to, this is not compulsory and you do not have to attach a testimonial to a specific project so can ignore this if required.
• Type in your customers name in the Customer Name box.
• Type in the customers email address in the relevant box.
• You can also add a relevant picture to be shown alongside the Testimonial if required.
• Give your testimonial a name or description in the Testimonial Title box.
• Write, Copy-And-Paste or use Siri to create your testimonial.
• Tap the Save button to post your testimonial.

A Project is a collection of Posts over a time-span relating to one specific topic (a house build, a football match, a car valet).

• At the top of the screen are three options - Projects, Posts and Testimonials, tap the word Projects to bring the blue highlight under the Projects section if not already there.
• Your screen will now show all your recent projects that you are able to scroll through, you are able to edit, amend or delete any of these by tapping the individual project or swiping left to give you the option to delete.
• Projects that are shown on your website are indicated with a green tick whilst project that remain unpublished are indicated with a red minus.
• Tap on the blue plus at the bottom of the screen to create a new project header.
• Input the name of the project in the relevant box at the top of the screen.
• Change the date of the project if required in the next box down, Foreman populates this box with the current date.
• In the Project Details box you can type a brief overview of the project.
• Tap on the blue plus that is visible in the Main Image box, this open the option to add an image via your devices camera or from the photo gallery on your device.
• You can toggle the Show On Website button in the lower left of the screen by tapping it, the green tick will post it on your website and the red minus will withhold posting it to your website.
• Tap on the Save button to save the Project information and to post it to your website if you have chosen this option.

The header of Project can be changed as required, this includes the project name, details, date and image

• At the top of the screen are three options - Projects, Posts and Testimonials, tap the word Projects to bring the blue highlight under the Projects section if not already there.
• Your screen will now show all your recent projects that you are able to scroll through, you are able to edit, amend or delete any of these by tapping the individual project or swiping left to give you the option to delete.
• Projects that are shown on your website are indicated with a green tick whilst project that remain unpublished are indicated with a red minus.
• Tap on the Project you wish to select to open up the Project header.
• Edit, amend or delete the required information before selecting the option to Show On Website in the lower left of the screen, the green tick will post it on your website and the red minus will withhold posting it to your website.
• Tap the Save button to complete the task.

Foreman will reward you for every referral that leads to a new user.

• The lower left corner of the screen shows a persons icon, tap this to go to the Foreman Referral page.
• You can search your contacts list by inputting the first few letters of their name in the Search Friends box at the top of the screen.
• The second white box from the top of the screen is a personalised link to the Foreman website, tapping this allows you to send a message as shown via various formats from your device such as WhatsApp, Text, Email etc.
• You can also scroll down your contacts list as shown on the screen to select the person you want to refer Foreman to.
• The bottom of the screen is a blue QR Code button, this show your personal QR code for anyone to scan with their camera to take them to the Foreman site whilst noting where the referral came.
• All the above actions carry a ‘marker’ for Foreman to identify the source of the referral, this ensures we can always reward the correct person or business.

• The bottom left of the screen is message icon, tapping on this takes you to our Contact Us page.
• Input your message to us in the white Your Message box.
• QUICK TIP - Using Siri or any Speech-To-Text functionality on your device is a quick way to type a message.
• Tap the blue Send button at the bottom of the screen and your message is sent to the Foreman team.
